The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report the fault by writing (preferably by email) within 48 hours of receipt. Damaged goods must be returned to Design Digital Solutions Ltd within 14 days of receipt. Faulty printer cartridges and drums must be returned with a print sample if appropriate to the fault. Accident damage, neglect or misuse of items will not be acceptable for return. Customers that have modified, rechipped or refilled cartridges will void their warranty. Incorrectly supplied products (including drums, projector bulbs, fax machines, printers, photocopiers and toner cartridges ) cannot be returned if the box and/or seal has been opened, damaged or is missing. Carriage costs cannot be refunded except where the mistake is that of Design Digital Solutions Ltd. The customer shall pay any carriage costs involved in a return where the goods supplied are as requested and are not faulty. Design Digital Solutions Ltd will only arrange for collection from UK customers under special circumstances. Design Digital Solutions Ltd will not promise that any toner cartridges or drums will last for a pre-determined amount of time or page length and will not be acceptable for return under this reason. Manufacturers may change products or specification and newer items cannot be exchanged for an older product on these occasions. Returned cartridges will be weighed and those deemed to be empty or near empty shall not be acceptable for return. Items that have been returned but supplied by an alternative supplier will not be entitled to a refund or replacement. Goods that are returned as unwanted without replacement will be subject to a 10% restocking charge with a minimum £10 charge.
